The council authorized the city to fund training for Demond Rodgers, also identified in the minutes by the nickname "Fudge," to obtain Class D water and wastewater operator licenses. "Tom Smith made a motion to have Demond Rodgers (Fudge) to class to obtain his class D operator licenses for water and wastewater," the record states.
