The Smith County Commissioners voted to approve an Atronic quote of $5,985.55 to install door access, a fire alarm and a security system at the Gardner Wellness Center. Clerk Ashley Maxwell presented the quote and said she had spoken with committee chairman Conaway, who indicated funding is available to cover the $5,985.55 upfront cost; Maxwell also noted a $75.00 per month recurring service fee.
