The Gladwin County Board of Commissioners voted March 19, 2025, to allow Chairperson Karen Moore to sign a letter of support for Brightspeed's application to Michigan's Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment (BEAD) program covering Gladwin County. Motion by Commissioner Mike Visnaw, supported by Commissioner Alan Donaldson, carried on an aye vote.
