The Crawford County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously on Dec. 18 to increase the Assistant Prosecutor salary from $65,000 to $80,000. Chairperson Laurie Jamison, speaking for County Controller Paul Compo during his absence, said the prosecutor supports a candidate for the long-vacant position and that the county budget can sustain the pay increase.
