Commission hears $32,520 estimate to replace obsolete jail fire-suppression components

County staff reported a failed pressure switch and obsolete panel in the jail’s fire-suppression system and presented a Connolly proposal. Commissioners were told the replacement is roughly $32,520 plus tax, with additional alarm and electrical costs to be identified; they asked staff to seek funding options and report back Friday.
