County staff proposed moving to a daily burn-ban policy that would allow the emergency manager and the president of the Crawford County Firefighters Association to impose or lift burn bans on a day-by-day basis and notify the public through Genesis, social media and the county website. The commission approved resolution 2025-013 to begin that process.
