County considers DocAccess for ADA compliance, process automation and multifactor authentication costs
Health Department Administrator Bethanie Albrecht briefed the Committee on DocAccess (automatic PDF-to-WCAG 2.1 AA HTML conversion) and PADS process automation; members voted to place both items on the full Board agenda. The Committee also discussed multifactor authentication implementation and the need to replace 28 computers identified by Heart.

Ms. Bethanie Albrecht, Health Department Administrator, told the Committee the DocAccess product would "be used to simplify compliance by automatically converting all current and future PDFs into screen-reader friendly, WCAG 2.1 AA-aligned HTML transcripts," covering text images, historical documents and complex diagrams. She said the quote provided is for countywide coverage and each department will decide what to retain on the website.
