The board set village trick-or-treat hours for Oct. 31 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and noted the Trick or Trot 5K for the Alzheimer's Association will begin at BoxLogix at 9 a.m.; organizers previously raised over $1,000.

The board reviewed upcoming community events and set official trick-or-treat hours. Clerk Atterbury described a planned 'Spooky Halloween Night' organized by Katie Webb and Jeannie Hamilton—featuring a costume contest, scavenger hunt and pumpkin carving station—and trustees set village trick-or-treating hours on Oct. 31 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on a motion by Trustee Dawn Drew, seconded by Chasity Allen.
