The Columbia County Insurance Committee voted to recommend that the Board of Supervisors consider a contract with CDPHP for a pharmacy-concierge service intended to reduce prescription costs for the county’s self-funded plans. Staff told the committee the vendor proposes a fee of $1.75 per member per month and would work directly with patients’ medical providers to identify clinically appropriate, lower-cost alternatives.
