River Ridge approves $1,350 bulrush removal; staff review lake‑maintenance audit

Bill Kurth of Premier Lakes told the Board that "the lake banks are well maintained and water levels are low," and said the nano‑bubbler manufacturer expects a shipment in approximately two weeks so repairs will be scheduled in July. After discussion about bulrush locations and photos, the Board approved a one‑time Premier Lakes work order to remove bulrush in the tee area of Lakes Golf Hole #9 for $1,350 (motion by Kurt Blumenthal, seconded by Terry Mountford; approved unanimously).

Separately, Operations Manager Shane Willis said the full Quality Assurance Report on lake maintenance and dry retention had been emailed and summary memorandums were included in the agenda; minor aquatic work orders were submitted to Premier Lakes. Mr. Krebs will review the list of lake banks and provide a prioritized list of work for the Board to review. No additional funding beyond routine aquatic work orders and the approved bulrush removal was authorized at the meeting.
