Representative Long raised calls from insurance agents and constituents reporting that parts of Horry County — including Conway and Aynor ZIP codes — appear to have dropped out of the state wind pool, leaving some residents unable to obtain wind coverage. "I've had several insurance agents and brokers calling me and asking about the wind pool," Long said, asking whether the problem was localized to Horry County or affecting other coastal counties.
