The Schenectady City Historic Resource Commission approved a Certificate of Appropriateness for Mohawk Heating Company to install a mini-split system at 72 Union Ave in the Union Triangle Historic District, subject to staff conditions recorded in the minutes. Conditions include keeping the already-installed mini-split in place, installing a 4-foot wooden picket gated fence between 70 and 72 Union Ave to screen the equipment, providing site photos and a plot plan to Development Department staff, securing permits prior to work, and completing work within one year.
