Council adopts fee schedule update including solid-waste and water rate adjustments

The Sycamore City Council approved Ordinance 2026.01 on first and second reading, updating the city's Consolidated Fee, Bond and Penalty Schedule. City Manager Michael Hall told the council the amendments were necessary because the prior agenda item omitted a contractual solid-waste fee increase and several flat water-related rates. "This was done at the last meeting, however, it left out the contractual solid waste fee increase and certain flat water-related rates," Hall said.
