On Nov. 6 the Spring City Commission approved Resolution 2025-15 to authorize the town to enter into a contract with Core & Main for water meter services utilizing FlexReed software. Commissioner Kevin Jenkins moved the resolution; Commissioner Thomas Beaver seconded. The motion carried with Aye votes recorded from Commissioner Beaver, Commissioner Jenkins, Commissioner Murphy and Mayor Leon Locke.
