N. Garrison, Town Clerk, said the current director is resigning at the end of June and presented three staffing options: the Town hiring part-time staff, the Shenandoah County Library hiring the employee, or the Town providing funds for the library to hire the staff member. Garrison said Shenandoah County "would not be a viable option."
