At the study session a commissioner pointed to the budget brief and said the mill-levy change did not appear to match prior-year figures, noting the brief lists a proposed levy of 38.004 that seems to understate the increase from fiscal year 2025. A county staff member said the discrepancy may come from mixing tax-year and budget-year figures and agreed to correct the verbiage and numbers in the packet.
