On April 19 the Hastings City Council approved grouped resolutions (2026‑27 through 2026‑31 and related items) levying special assessments across several street improvement and extension districts, including Lockland Meadows and Elm Meadows subdivisions. City staff explained payment and financing options and that the sewer connection tap fee would not be assessed until a property owner requests connection.
