Commission directs update to Issue Resolution Policy, shifting final appeals authority to county administrator

During the Oct. 16 meeting, Commissioner Pasha Majdi moved to direct county counsel and the Human Resources department to reevaluate and update the Jefferson County Issue Resolution Policy. The proposed update would incorporate Human Resources into the appeals process and remove the county commission as the final arbitrator so that the county administrator serves as the final arbitrator for appeals.
