Chief Technology Officer Gabriel Areizaga briefed the commission on a county IT modernization plan. Commissioner Steve Stolipher moved to authorize release of an RFP to consolidate domains under jefcowv.gov, migrate county email and services to Microsoft 365 (primarily E1 licensing), deploy Azure Active Directory and implement a FIPS 201–compliant PIV smart-card system for logical access.
