Jefferson County approved a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Blue Ridge Community and Technical College for participation in the Learn and Earn Cooperative Work Apprenticeship Program. Commissioner Majdi moved to approve the MOU pending legal review and technical amendments; Commissioner Hefestay seconded and the motion was approved unanimously. The MOU will be effective upon full execution and remain in effect from Jan. 1, 2026 through Jan. 1, 2027 as recorded in the minutes.
