Council to place resolution dissolving Civic Engagement Program on consent

Blanccia Lindsey, the city’s boards and commissions program administrator, presented a resolution to repeal Resolution 30‑14 and dissolve the Civic Engagement Program, which she said was created in March 2014 and has been inactive since December 2021. "When the program was established in March 2014, there was not a boards and commissions program administrator," she said, adding that many program functions have since been absorbed by paid staff. Lindsey said the city met with stakeholders and recommended dissolution as an administrative step.
