Board of Elections: 459 registration updates in March; early-voting security plan completed
Board of Elections staff told the committee they processed 459 registration-related updates in March and completed an Early Voting Security plan, a network security survey and procedures to prevent duplicate voting and premature release of results.

Chantell Hotaling and Ken Warner of the Cayuga County Board of Elections reported to the Government Operations Committee that in March the BOE processed or updated 459 registration-related items, including new registrations, address changes and party or name changes. They said the office prepared required reports for the New York State Board of Elections and completed an Early Voting Security plan and a network security survey to strengthen election systems.
