Historic Preservation planner Yanni Jones presented the commission with a condensed monthly staff activities report that highlighted administrative actions and design-review work for January. Jones said staff issued five reports or certificates of appropriateness in the month and pointed to a notable approval for a 290-square-foot rear addition to the Otis Residence at 511 Matthew Street, a contributing property in the Laurel School historic district.
