Planning staff asked the commission to approve ORD 4-2026, a proposed text amendment to Article 14 (amendments and zoning procedures) to change public-notice minimums from 30 days back to 15 days. Staff said the state had reverted to a 15-day notice requirement, and the city's earlier change to 30 days created scheduling problems that often delayed tabled cases by an extra month.
