Channahon board adopts student-drafted resolution recognizing Job Shadowing Day
The Committee of the Whole approved a resolution recognizing Job Shadowing Day after Student Council President Mosley read the student-authored resolution; the motion passed by roll call with six ayes and no nays.

Vice President Moorman Schumacher told the board Job Shadow Day brings junior-high students to learn about municipal functions and that students craft their own resolution to mark the day. "They come up with a resolution of their own and there are some things that they thought were important about Job Shadow Day and Student Government and community involvement," Moorman Schumacher said.
