Building Official Scott Cazier and Water Operator Quintin Simpson are enrolled in a Level 1 septic course and are expected to attend Level 2 in late September or early October, after which they would be qualified to perform septic inspections for the Town. Cazier recommended setting a septic permit fee at $300, aligning the Town with the current county rate, and the county advised the Town consider adopting a septic maintenance requirement plan.
