Commissioners approved several personnel-authority actions. They authorized the Clerk to post and fill a vacant position in the Clerk’s Office and separately allowed the Register of Deeds vacancy to be filled at 90% of the Unit 7 contract rate, with credit for experience earned at Clare County. Commissioner Visnaw moved the Register of Deeds hiring approach and Commissioner Donaldson seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
