The Smith County Commissioners voted unanimously on June 9 to vacate E Rd between 10 Rd and 20 Rd and approved Resolution 25‑07. Commissioner Jim Gwennap said he opened the request and had asked the requestor to gate both ends; Gwennap reported the requestor agreed to do that for emergency access.
