Library staff presented proposed technology purchases tied to the Chipley Library expansion (BB201), a grant-funded project intended to support workforce development, telehealth access and broadband. The purchases include 30 laptops for classroom instruction, seven additional computers for study/virtual meeting rooms, and upgraded large curved display screens to support programming and telehealth; staff said the total cost for these technology items is $68,995 and that the amount is included in the library expansion budget of $3.9 million.
