The Village of Cold Spring Board of Trustees authorized the temporary hire of former village employee Karen Herbert to assist with building department work and support for land‑use boards while the village seeks a new Secretary to the Zoning Board. Mayor Kathleen E. Foley moved to hire Herbert at $35.00 per hour for up to 25 hours per week; the motion carried 3-0-0-2.
