Community Development Department staff told the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors on April 15 that AC44 implementation will proceed through five work projects that translate the county’s 20-year comprehensive plan into action. “AC44 is a remarkable high level plan of action for how Albemarle County will grow and develop over the next 20 years,” said James Wilkinson, principal planner, explaining the planning framework and a schedule of deliverables that runs from fiscal year 2026 through 2029.
