Representative Kehan introduced House Bill 689 to the State Planning & Community Affairs committee, saying the measure "seeks to establish a homelessness prevention program under the direction of DCA." The bill would create a state-level grant program to distribute funds to local organizations and partner with private and local government sources so assistance is geographically distributed.
