The Jefferson County Commission on Aug. 7 approved a motion by Commissioner Cara Keys to increase the Jefferson County Development Authority board size to 11 members. The motion passed by a 3–2 vote: Keys, Mike Mood and Jack Hefestay in favor; President Pasha Majdi and Commissioner Steve Stolipher opposed. The vote was recorded in the minutes as part of the JCDA nominations and was the meeting's most divided decision.
