The commission approved multiple accounts-payable batches, manual checks, payroll and requisitions at its Aug. 7 meeting, authorizing vendor payments and routine disbursements across several funds.

The Jefferson County Commission on Aug. 7 approved multiple accounts-payable batches, manual checks, payroll and requisitions presented by county staff. Commissioners approved a July 24 accounts-payable run totaling $336,648.43, a July 31 run of $611,653.07, and an Aug. 7 run of $30,162.40; manual checks totaling $367,157.75 (July 24), $8,994.50 (July 31) and $1,088,457.51 (Aug. 7) were also approved. Commissioner Pasha Majdi moved the approvals, and the motions were carried without objection.
