Residents press Bristol board on NDAs, transparency and ethics oversight
Several residents urged the Board to adopt a resolution banning officials from signing NDAs on development projects and demanded better transparency, searchable ordinances and an ethics committee. Some public commenters made allegations about the Administrator that the Board did not address in the meeting.

Chad Toedter, who said he is running for Wheatland Town Chair, asked the board to place a draft resolution (referred to as Resolution 2026-002) on the next agenda that would bar town supervisors, board members and employees from signing corporate non-disclosure agreements related to public development projects. "NDAs do not belong within our local government," Toedter said, arguing such agreements undermine open-records laws and public oversight.
