The Commission approved a slate of personnel actions on July 8, 2025 including hires, promotions and a COLA/merit plan: hires for assessor and sheriff’s offices, promotion of Madeline Stephenson to Lead Permit Technician, promotion of Emily Pultz to Firefighter/Advanced EMT II and appointment of a Chief Technology Officer.

The Commission approved multiple personnel actions across departments. Highlights recorded in the minutes include the hire of Madison Hammock (Assessor's Office) at $18.00 per hour effective July 7, 2025; the promotion of Madeline Stephenson to Lead Permit Technician (Grade 4, salary $50,490.60, effective July 7, 2025); the promotion of Emily Pultz to Firefighter/Advanced EMT II at $22.90 per hour with a lump-sum payout of $226.50 for time worked between June 15 and the meeting date; and the appointment of Gabriel Areigaza as Chief Technology Officer at $95,197, effective July 9, 2025. The motions for these personnel items were moved and approved unanimously as recorded in the minutes.
