Dane County Housing Authority reports voucher activity, HUD troubled status and portfolio pressures

Knecht said HUD remains the major revenue source and that the Housing Choice Voucher program supports approximately 1,200–1,300 families depending on monthly leasing and funding conditions. Special-purpose voucher counts noted included 50 family unification vouchers (44 in use), an increase of VASH vouchers to 10, and about 153 mainstream vouchers currently in the pool.
