Council heard a staff overview of planned water and wastewater improvements including a SCADA rollout, a second-phase lead service-line inventory (door-to-door canvas in 2025), Well 2 rehabilitation, a water tank and 10" main extension, and a WWTP project with bidding set Jan. 1–Feb. 1, 2025 and construction March 2025–March 2026.

City staff presented a multi-part plan for water and wastewater infrastructure at the Dec. 9 meeting. Key items included installing a SCADA system to allow lift and booster stations to communicate with plants, completion of a lead-service-line inventory with a door-to-door canvas planned for 2025 (second phase), and a proposed rehabilitation of Well 2.
