At the Dec. 9 Belpre City Council meeting, Mayor Abdella summarized active grant work including an EPA lead line survey (the city received an acknowledgement form and the work is required by year end), an emergency generator grant, a source-water protection grant, a well-abandonment grant, and a water-audit/water-loss-control grant. She said the EPA submission is due Dec. 20 and warned the council the survey will require substantial staff work.
