The Crested Butte Town Council voted unanimously on March 16, 2026 to adopt the Colorado Wildfire Resiliency Code as Chapter 18, Article 6.5 of the Crested Butte Municipal Code by approving Ordinance No. 05, Series 2026. Mayor Ian Billick confirmed that proper public notice was given and opened the public hearing; no members of the public spoke during the hearing.
