Committee approves 20% dependent premium increase for 2025 plan year
The Health Advisory Committee voted 6–0 to raise dependent premiums by 20% for active employees, retirees and COBRA participants for the 2025 plan year after staff recommendation and discussion of revenue shortfalls.

The Douglas County School District Health Advisory Committee approved a motion Oct. 15 to increase dependent premiums by 20% for the 2025 plan year. Kerry Stack moved the increase and Jeannie Dwyer seconded; the motion passed unanimously 6–0.
