Morgan County backs NECALG as enterprise zone administrator
Commissioners unanimously approved a Letter of Support to retain Northeast Colorado Economic Development (NECALG) as the Enterprise Zone Administrator, a role that validates enterprise zone funding for local projects.

Chairman Jon J. Becker presented a Letter of Support on Sept. 16, 2025 asking the board to endorse keeping NECALG as the Enterprise Zone Administrator. Becker explained NECALG currently validates enterprise zone funding received by the county. Commissioner Timothy A. Malone moved to approve the letter; Commissioner Kelvin S. Bernhardt seconded and the motion carried 3-0.
