The council approved Resolution 2026-03, designating the Reading Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) as a qualified local nonprofit for purposes of charitable gaming under Michigan law. The motion was moved by Councilmember Crank and seconded by Councilmember George; the roll-call vote was recorded as 4–0 (Matz absent).
