Springfield zoning report lists multiple violations, court actions and pending STR cases
Zoning Coordinator Timothy Bray reported approved permits, several vested-permit statuses, and a docket of zoning violations and enforcement actions — including a default judgment to deny STR use in one case and NHDES review in another — and the Selectboard voted to accept the report.

Timothy Bray, the town’s Zoning Coordinator and Health Officer, delivered the Aug. 24 zoning report that listed recently issued building permits and several unresolved zoning violations and short-term rental (STR) matters. The report named multiple cases by property owner (for example, a default judgment was entered in favor of the Town in the case involving Prime, 5 Winding Woods Road, where the court denied further STR use without an approved Conditional Use Permit) and noted an NHDES site inspection in the Pratt shoreland/Fill and Dredge matter; the report said the Town Attorney has been contacted for municipal legal action where appropriate.
