PCC Approves FFY 2024–2028 TIP Amendment Adding Pavement, Bridge Study, Signals and Trail Maintenance

The PCC unanimously approved TIP Amendment #2 to the FFY 2024–2028 Transportation Improvement Program, adding pavement preservation, a bridge study, signal work and trail maintenance projects and reflecting a new recreational-trails funding source from Fish Wildlife and Parks.

Andrew Finch, Senior Transportation Planner with the Great Falls MPO, presented the FFY 2024–2028 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Amendment #2 and described it as "a 5-year Capital Improvement Plan covering transportation projects and initiatives within the Great Falls MPO." Finch told the committee the amendment updates cost estimates, shifts phases between fiscal years and adds several projects, including durable striping maintenance on major urban roads, the 10th Avenue South Pavement Preservation Project, a 15th Street North Bridge Study and 10th Avenue South Signals.
