Commissioners and road staff reviewed plans and on‑site needs for a series of rural road and bridge projects across Smith County. Commissioner Jim Gwennap raised potential work on 40 Rd between P Rd and Q Rd and Blade Foreman Gary Baetz said fencing will need to be moved before work begins. Baetz also reported an electric fence located at the edge of the rock road north of Hwy 36 on DD Rd, and Gwennap said he would contact the landowner to move the fence.
