Crawford County approves $10,000 support for Northern Michigan Children's Assessment Center
The county agreed to a Professional Services Agreement effective Jan. 1, 2025, providing $7,500 from county funds and $2,500 from the Sheriff's Department to support the Northern Michigan Children's Assessment Center; director Becky Yuncker said the center is expanding and requested a Crawford County board member.

The Crawford County Board of Commissioners voted to enter a Professional Services Agreement effective Jan. 1, 2025, providing $7,500 in county funds plus $2,500 from the Sheriff's Department budget to support the Northern Michigan Children's Assessment Center. The motion (mover: Commissioner Moore; second: Commissioner Kraycs) passed by unanimous roll call.
