Middle Thorofare LCD study continues; USCG concurrence and tolling layout coordination scheduled

Commission staff briefed the board that the Local Concept Development (LCD) study for Middle Thorofare Bridge and Ocean Drive (CR621) improvements is progressing. U.S. Coast Guard concurrence on the Navigation Impact Report has been requested and is anticipated in March 2026. Staff said vertical clearance requirements remain the project's critical path.
