City staff presented a plan to bundle about 20 minor code errors, organizational fixes and some state-law compliance items into a first round of code maintenance; the commission was asked to review in October with a public hearing targeted for January.

City planning staff told the commission they have compiled roughly 20 code topics for a maintenance package that will include editorial corrections, clarification of development standards (for example parking-surface and canopy rules) and organizational changes to make standards easier to find. Staff said they will separate straightforward fixes from items that await state rulemaking guidance and will provide public notice and comment on the package.
