State housing office outlines tools to help Fairview implement new housing laws

Sean Edging, a housing planner with the Housing Accountability and Production Office (HAPO), told the Fairview Planning Commission that his seven-person office exists to help local governments implement state housing laws. "My name is Sean Edging. I am a housing planner, at the housing accountability and production office," he said, explaining that HAPO was established by 2024 legislation to provide technical assistance, research and coordination across state agencies.
